Abstract
Driver training and education still flounders in a world of wishful and woolly thinking. It not appear to be effective in reducing participant?s crash risk. Traffic safety research does appear to be effective in helping us understand why this is the case. The traffic safety community may benefit from communicating more constructively and thinking more creatively. What or who will change the situation?
