“Conflicts between healthy development during adolescence, societal norms and young driver road safety” – Seminar presented by Professor Teresa Senserrick PhD

Professor Teresa Senserrick PhD has focused her research on road safety for over 20 years. With her background in developmental psychology, young drivers have been a particular interest group. Adolescence is a peak period of development, intersecting with the typical age we start to drive, among other challenges on the path to independence. How we manage these developments has implications for the safety of all young drivers, and all of us with whom they share the roads.
