- Carl Muller – Executive Director Road Safety Victoria at Department of Transport
- Michael Hardiman – Victoria Police Major Collision Investigation Unit
- Stephen Leane – Road Road Safety Camera Commissioner
Carl Muller is the Executive Director of Road Safety Victoria within the Department of Transport responsible for leading the collective efforts of the Road Safety Partnership, striving to achieve zero lives lost on Victorian roads by 2050. Previously Director of Corporate Services and interim CEO of Sustainability Victoria (SV) which delivers Victorian Government programs promoting and facilitating environmental sustainability. Carl spent the majority of the last ten years leading the reform and improvement of government organisations.
Michael Hardiman is a Detective Leading Senior Constable with the Victoria Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. In his role, he works closely with the Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) and other members within Victoria Police to reconstruct fatal and life threatening injury collisions occurring across Victoria. Michael has worked in this role for approximately 8 years and has been a member a member of Victoria Police for 18 years.
Stephen Leane APM was appointed as the new Road Safety Camera Commissioner in December 2019. He has 40 years’ experience in Victoria Police in a range of senior command roles. He was most recently the Assistant Commissioner for Road Safety, responsible for driving road safety across the state and delivering new road policing technology. Stephen has seen the impact that road trauma has on the community and how camera technology plays a critical role in reducing road trauma. He emphasises the importance of Victorians having confidence in the state’s road safety camera system.
