SA Chapter Lunchtime Seminar: Community Road Safety Education

Come and hear about the programs run by the RAA in community road safety education. This is an opportunity to learn and ask questions about aspects of community road safety education.

About the presenters:

Ben Haythorpe – Ben is the Senior Manager Community Engagement at RAA and oversees many of RAA’s school and community education programs, including the RAA drive school. Ben’s team covers many areas of community education, educating in the areas of child restraints (and fitting), preschool, primary school and high school students, as well as several programs tailored to older drivers.

Trevor Bailey – Trevor will present on effective road safety messaging for children, teenagers and parents. After retiring from DIT, Trevor has been working at the Centre for Automotive Road Safety on researching a wide range of behavioural factors relevant to road safety.
