Abstract
The e5 framework is a learning and teaching instructional model for developing lessons, units and/or programs in educational settings. e5 was developed by the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development at the request of teachers in schools and is a significant addition to the Victorian improvement strategy “on the leading edge of policy and practice in the world” (Elmore 2007). This paper provides an introduction to applying e5 in developing Traffic Safety Education programs linked to the stages of learning and using key Traffic Safety Education resources, from the early to the later years.
