The ACRS WA Chapter is hosting a quarterly Book Club. The first meeting will be on 20 May at 4 pm at the Main Roads, Don Aitken Centre. The first discussion item is PACTS What Kills Most on the Roads.
In 2008, the Western Australian Government set a bold aspiration to achieve a 40% reduction in serious road trauma by 2020. For 2030 a target reduction of between 50 and 70% has been set on a journey to “zero” by 2050.
Where have we made progress? Where are the challenges and opportunities going forward? How has research contributed and what do we need in the future?
